Thank you to the Struggle of Love Foundation
I truly enjoy each time I walk into the Struggle of Love Foundation. The conversation, led by John Walsh and Lakeshia hodge, was overwhelming to say the least.
The conversations surrounding domestic violence were near and dear to my heart. Hearing directly from youth about their experiences, their hopes, and their vision for the future was incredibly meaningful. To hear the plans being developed to create a better future not only for them, but for their families and communities, was truly rewarding.
I also had the opportunity to connect with Colorado State Representative Shontel Lewis and learn more about her plans to address the healthcare deficit and advocate for smaller healthcare nonprofits doing work directly in our communities.
As the Founder of Bridge Care Connections, conversations like these remind me why this work matters. Healthcare, safety, advocacy, and community support are all connected. When we listen to the people most impacted and create space for their voices, we can begin building solutions that actually meet people where they are.
Grateful for the conversations, the connections, and the continued work happening in our community.
TOGETHER WE BRIDGE.
